Accepting these terms
By creating an account you accept these terms. You must be at least 14 years old.
Ride safely
Jolly Rider is an aid, not a substitute for your attention. Do not interact with your phone while riding. Routes may be inaccurate or may not reflect local rules. You remain responsible for obeying traffic law and for your own safety.
Emergency features
SOS MSG prepares a message containing your location for the emergency contacts you entered yourself, and opens your messaging application so that you can send it. Jolly Rider never contacts emergency services on your behalf. Crash detection is not accurate 100% of the time: it can miss an impact, or trigger without one. Never rely on it alone.
Content you publish
You are responsible for what you publish: hazard reports, rides, photos, nickname. No illegal, hateful, harassing or sexual content, and no impersonation. You can report or block any other rider from within the application. We may remove content or suspend an account that breaks these rules.
Maps and third-party data
Map data comes from OpenStreetMap, (c) OpenStreetMap contributors, licensed under the Open Database License (ODbL). Weather, road works and other public data come from their respective providers under their own licences. We do not guarantee their accuracy or availability.
Your account
You may delete your account at any time, from the application or from jolly-rider.com/delete-account.
Liability
The application is provided as is. Within the limits allowed by law, we are not liable for damage resulting from its use. Nothing here removes a right the law gives you and that cannot be waived.
