Privacy Policy
Jolly Rider is a motorcycle navigation application. This policy explains what we collect, why, how long we keep it, and how you stay in control. It applies to the iOS and Android applications and to jolly-rider.com.

What we collect
- Account information: email address, date of birth, gender, nickname.
- Motorcycle information you provide: engine size, top speed, photo.
- Precise location while you use navigation, and your last known position when you open the application.
- Speed and speed-limit events.
- Emergency contact numbers you enter yourself.
- Content you create: hazard reports, group rides, shared positions, saved places, maintenance log.
- Usage measurements: which screens and features you open.
- Crash diagnostics, from our own self-hosted error service.
- Website measurements: pages viewed, buttons clicked, time on page, screen size, browser and IP address, collected on our own servers.
Why we collect it
To provide navigation and the features you use, and to improve our products and services. We also keep your last known position for safety: it can help the people you have authorized (such as the parental portal) or the authorities locate you in an emergency, within the limits of the law. Nothing else. We do not sell your data, to anyone, ever. We use no tracking software. If we introduce advertising in a future version, we will update this page before that version is released.
How long we keep it
Website measurements, including IP addresses, are deleted automatically after 90 days; beyond that only anonymous visit counts, which identify nobody, are kept. Telemetry and location data are deleted automatically after a maximum of 90 days. The deletion runs every day, so nothing older than three months remains. Your account information stays until you delete your account.
Who else sees it
Nobody, beyond what is strictly required to run the service: our hosting provider, and Google's push notification service, which receives only an anonymous device token. Map data comes from OpenStreetMap and receives nothing about you. We disclose data to a third party only when the law requires it, such as a valid court order.
Your rights
You can access, correct, export and delete your data at any time. Export and deletion are available in the application under Settings, and deletion is also available at jolly-rider.com/delete-account. When you request deletion your account is disabled immediately and permanently erased after one month. You may cancel during that month by signing in again.
Children
Jolly Rider is not intended for anyone under 14. Below the legal age in your region, a parent or guardian must approve the account.
Changes
Any change to this policy will be published on this page.
