ISSUE Nº 005 · RIDE TOGETHER
Group rides fall apart at the first red light. They should not.
01 · THE SCATTER
It starts as one group. Two lights later it is three packs, and somebody is stopped at a junction with no idea which way the others went. The leader waits. Everybody waits. The day burns down at intersections.
The worst part of riding in a group is standing still, waiting for the group.
One rider sets the route, everyone joins it. Each bike shows up live on the map, so the leader can see who dropped back and the rest can see where the front went. No shouting into an intercom, no pulling over.
Riders come and go during the day without breaking anything. The route stays the route.
